India's Insurance Penetration Stable at 3.7% as Density Improves Marginally to USD 97

IRDAI Annual Report 2024-25: Overall insurance penetration at 3.7% (life: 2.7%, non-life: 1.0%). Insurance density increased modestly from USD 95 to USD 97. Total premium of Rs 11.93 lakh crore. Claims paid of Rs 8.36 lakh crore. AUM at Rs 74.44 lakh crore.
