The Sabka Bima Sabki Raksha (Amendment of Insurance Laws) Act, 2025 came into force with effect from February 5, 2026. FDI limit raised from 74% to 100%. Maximum penalty increased from Rs 1 crore to Rs 10 crore. IRDAI empowered to order disgorgement of wrongful gains.
